Georgian speaker of parliament describes political priorities in US

Georgian Speaker of Parliament David Usupashvili has visited the Carnegie Center and described Georgian foreign political priorities, Trend reports.
The official said that Georgia was devoted to cooperation with European and Euro-Atlantic states, but will not join a military or a political alliance.
The new Georgian government will focus on agriculture, healthcare, protection of workers’ rights, improvement of electoral legislature. Usupashvili noted employment and poverty problems in the country.
The speaker said that the country had a multi-party system and politically motivated opposition.
James Collins, Director of the Russia and Eurasia Foundation programs, said that Georgia was taking the right path and wished its government success.
