Georgian ex-minister for defense on trial

Georgian ex-Minister for Defense Bacho Akhalaya is on trial for excess of authority and illegal detention.

His lawyer Malkhaz Velijanashvili said that the previous trial had been held on March 5. Akhalaya had spoken against judgment by the jury due.
