Trans-Caucasus Highway opens

The Trans-Caucasus Highway, closed on Sunday at 5.30 pm due to high avalanche and rock fall risk, opened at the Buron – Northern Portal of the Roksky Tunnel section at 10.00 am today.

The highway connects Russia and South Ossetia.
