Two OMON officers from Moscow injured by bomb in Grozny

An unidentified bomb went off on the crossing of the streets of Ponyatkov and Baysangur Benoyevsky, ten meters away from the road, in Grozny on Sunday night, RIA Novosti reports.

Two OMON officers from Moscow were injured by shrapnel from the bomb. The police have initiated a criminal case for the attack on the officers. The act may be punished with up to a life sentence.
