Iranian supreme leader pardons over 1,000 convicts

Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has pardoned 1059 political, military and civilian convicts due to Nowruz and the Day of the Islamic Republic.

Iranian Chief Judge Sadek Amomali Larijani had sent a request to Khamenei to pardon the convicts.
