Syrian opposition chooses prime minister for interim government

Syrian opposition chose Hassan Hitto, a specialist of communications, as the Prime Minister of the interim government last night, RIA Novosti cites opposition member Hisham Marua.

Hitto got 35 out of 48 votes. He lived over a decade in the US.

12 people were candidates for prime minister. 72 members of Syrian opposition attended the talks in Istanbul.
