Russian and South Ossetian humanitarian relations to improve

Russian Ambassador to South Ossetia Elbrus Kargiyev has made a speech on the second day of the Russian Journalism School at the South Ossetian State University. He noted that maintenance of humanitarian relations was a new aspect of communication.

The countries cooperate in education, science and improvement of skills for teachers of the Russian language, history and literature.

Restoration of infrastructure after the war in August 2008 is a priority of bilateral cooperation. It was strengthened by donation of textbooks by the History Faculty of the MSU.

Over 40 journalists of South Ossetia will attend classes for three days, meet advanced media experts, including TV journalist Alexander Sladkov, Vice President of the Company for Development of Public Relations Olga Peskova, veteran military journalist Victor Litovkin.

Middle schools of Tskhinvali have lessons of history organized by teachers of the History Faculty of the MSU of M.V. Lomonosov.

Sergey Karpov, Dean of the History Faculty, sent a letter to President of the South Ossetian State University of Tibilov, Teymuraz Kokoyev. The letter has ideas for development of bilateral cooperation.
