Russian Chamber of Accounts checks Chechnya

The Russian Chamber of Accounts has calculated that Chechnya had made financial violating worth 7.9 billion rubles, ITAR-TASS reports.

Chechnya had income of 74.267 billion rubles (98.7% of budget) in 2012 and expenses of 73.547 billion (96.3%). Tax and non-tax income increased by 587 million rubles (8.4%) compared with 2011.

The president extended authority of regions on May 7, 2012. The deficit of finances totals 22 billion rubles, including 3.4 billion rubles needed for wage indexing, 17 billion for construction of nurseries.

The federal purpose program for socio-economic development of Chechnya for 2008-2012 had financing reduced by 11.9 billion rubles. 33 facilities were left unconstructed.
