Kudepsta thermal power plant project approved by state experts

State experts have approved the project of the Kudepsta Thermal

Power Plant in Sochi in preparation for the Olympic games in 2014,

the GazEnrgoStroy corporation that is developing the facility says.

In December the project was checked by the Federal Service for Control 

of Environmental Resources. At the moment the documents 

meet all the engineering requirements. 

During the course of two weeks all the comments and questions about

the documentation of the  TPP project were resolved. 

The Kudepsta TPP will be the biggest thermal power plant in the world and

the biggest power plant in the Sochi energy grid. The plant should be

launched in 2013. The cost of the project is estimated at 15-20 billion

rubles.
