OPIC grants Georgia’s Teliani Valley $2 million

OPIC (US) has transferred $2 million to Teliania Valley, a Georgian wine company.

The companies signed a deal two years ago to grant the Georgian company $15 million.

The first tranche was made a year ago and was worth $5 million for construction of champagne production and wine-growing development. The new tranche will be spent on tourism development, expansion of wine production and exports of wine to the US.
