Turkish court orders detention of 52 generals on coup charges

A Turkish court ordered on Friday the detention of 102 former and current military servicemen, inclduing 52 generals, on charges of plotting a coup, CNN Turk reports.
During the investigation of the coup d'etat “Balyoz” (“Sledgehammer”), 102 of 196 military servicemen (retired or on duty), including 52 generals, were arrested, reports CNN Turk.
