Submariner Day in Moscow

On March 19 the Submariner Day was celebrated. In Moscow in honor of the sailors, a solemn wreath-laying ceremony to the Eternal Flame at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier took place in the Alexander Garden. Among others the cadets from the Cadet maritime boarding school named after the Hero of the Soviet Union, Gadzhiev, native of the city of Kaspiysk, marched by the Kremlin walls. In the evening, at the Cultural Center Arbat a ceremony was held in honor of the sailors-heroes of the Union State. For the first time in the recent history of the Union State, the Submariner Day was celebrated so widely. The celebration was organized in the framework of the socio-political project "Marine brotherhood is indestructible!" to promote international friendship between the CIS countries.
