In April a delegation of the Russian consumer protection agency (Rospotrebnadzor) will inspect Georgian wine- and mineral water-producing enterprises for a second time. The delegation will visit Western Georgia.

Russia banned Georgian imports during the 2008 war, saying the quality of Georgian wines and mineral water is low.

The Ivanishvili administration is trying to pursue Russia to lift the ban.
