Georgian minister accuses president of lies

Georgian Minister for Regional Development and Infrastructure David Narmania expressed surprise with President Mikheil Saakashvili’s remarks concerning neglect of infrastructure project and road construction, Interfax-Azerbaijan reports.

The minister noted that there was intensive construction. He reminded that the project for beach construction worth 200 million lari in Batumi was being realized. It was improved, saving 80 million lari.

Narmania added that Saakashvili’s statements about closing of a road in the Samtskhe-Javakheti Region were false.
