Dagestan passes additional alcohol restrictions

The Dagestani parliament has passed the bill on additional restrictions for retail sales of alcohol products in the first reading. According to the document, alcohol will be sold at 8.00 pm – 10.00 am. Restaurants and cafes will not be affected by the new rules.

The law forbids sales of alcohol during Ramadan, Children’s Day (June 1), Youth Day (27 June) and Knowledge Day (September 1).
