US to protect Georgian borders

The US plan to build facilities to enforce security at naval borders within the framework of the program for control of export and security. The project is worth $1.2 million.
US Ambassador Richard Norland started his three-day tour around Georgia to visit Batumi and Poti.
The ambassador will open a center for control of naval operations in Supse today. It will be a unique facility in the Black Sea to control crime traffic. Norland will visit the customs control zone in Poti and open a facility to repair motorboats securing the border. The US spent $6 million for the facility.
