Russian Foreign Ministry denies Lavrov will visit Baku

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has officially denied reports that he will visit Baku in mid-April for the
international forum of MGIMO alumni.

It was posted on the official website of the Russian Foreign Ministry on
Facebook that a number of media have reported inaccurate information about the
visit of Lavrov to the World Forum of MGIMO alumni in Baku.

As previously reported by Vestnik Kavkaza, Lavrov was reported to be scheduled to give a
welcoming speech at the opening ceremony of the event in Baku.
