The Chechen parliament can start preparing a bill banning ex-officials in
possession of classified data from travelling abroad if the head of the
region, Ramzan Kadyrov, makes such a proposition, the speaker of the
parliament, Dukuvakh Abdurakhmanov said.

The speaker of the Chechen parliament also noted that the officials in
question must remain in the country "until the expiration of a certain
time," meaning until the information stops being classified.

As previously reported by Vestnik Kavkaza, the head of Chechnya, Ramzan
Kadyrov, proposed banning a number of ex-officials from travelling abroad if
they had access to classified information while in the office.
