Georgia has external debt of $13.4 billion

According to the Georgian National Bank, the external debt of Georgia reached $13.4 billion in 2013. The government owes $4.2 billion (31.7%), National Bank $582.3 million (4.4%) and the banking sector $2.5 billion (18.5%), Trend reports.
94.3% of the debt was accumulated in foreign currency.
