Iran offers Vienna Group its own plan to solve the nuclear problem

On Monday Teheran is going to offer the Vienna Group its own plan to solve the problem of the Iranian nuclear program, Turkish Minister of Foreign Affairs Professor Ahmet Davutoglu said today after meeting his colleagues from Iran and Brazil.

The situation over the Iranian nuclear program become aggravated after February 11, when Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad announced that Iran has already produced a batch of 20%-enriched uranium.

According to Iranian officials, the 20%-enriched uranium is necessary for scientific research at the Teheran nuclear reactor. The aim is to produce isotopes for medical use.

The Turkish Minister of Foreign Affairs said that his statement was made according to an arrangement with his Iranian and Brazil counterparts.
