Turkish lawmakers visit jailed PKK leader

Peace and Democracy Party's (BDP) co-chair Selahattin Demirtaş and MPs Pervin Buldan and Sırrı Süreyya Önder visited the imprisoned leader of the outlawed Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) Abdullah Öcalan today, Hürriyet Daily News reports on Wednesday.

During the Nowruz celebrations on March 21, Öcalan called on PKK militants to leave Turkish territory.
