MGIMO graduates to meet in Azerbaijan

Baku will host a meeting of graduates of the Moscow State University of International Relations (MGIMO) on April 11-13, ITAR-TASS cites the institute’s president Anatoly Torkunov.
He noted that they will discuss education, energy and ecology in global economy and sustainable development, civil institutions, media community and business.
MGIMO graduates from 25 states, including Russia, China, Cuba, South Korea, Israel, Ukraine, Slovakia, Hungary, Czech Republic, Moldova, Kyrgyzstan, Poland and Kazakhstan will meet.
Over 400 people will meet. ITAR-TASS Director General Sergey Mikhaylov, his deputy Mikhail Gusman, Russian Minister for Culture Vladimir Medinsky and Rossotrudnichestvo head Constantine Kosachyov are among the highlights of the talks.
Torkunov added that they had an idea to create a forum, including one in Moscow, for regular meetings. Such forum may be founded for the 70th anniversary of MGIMO in 2014.
