Armenian opposition leader to protest during president’s inauguration

The Heritage Party of Armenia filed a request for a protest meeting on the Avenue of Abramyan near President Serzh Sargsyan’s residence. The request was filed by Armen Martirosyan, deputy chairman of the board of the party, Aykakan Zhamanak reports.

Sargsyan will have inauguration on April 9. Leader of the Heritage Party Raffi Ovannisyan has been protesting about the election results. He started a hunger strike on March 10 and said that he would not allow inauguration.
