Turkey calls Nabucco West more ambitious than TAP

Turkish Minister for Energy and Natural Resources Taner Yildiz said at the World Economic Forum in Baku that Nabucco West was a more ambitious project than the Trans-Adriatic Pipeline (TAP), Trend reports.

Yildiz emphasized that the final choice of route to transport Azerbaijani gas to Europe is up to the Shah Deniz Consortium.

The Trans-Anatolia Gas Pipeline (TANAP) of the Southern Gas Corridor was mentioned by the minister, but no route has been chosen for realization of the project.
