UN secretary general asks Syria to allow full inspection of chemical weapons

UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon has requested access to inspect Syrian chemical weapons in Aleppo and Homs, RIA Novosti reports.

Ban Ki-moon told US President Barack Obama that no such permission had been given.

Western states demand an inspection in Aleppo, Homs. The inspectors are waiting for access on Cyprus.
