Investors want half of Leviathan gas to be exported

Charles Davidson, head of Noble Energy, said that half of gas extracted at the Leviathan Field of Israel should be exported, Kursor reports.

Noble Energy decided to start hydrocarbon developments in Israel. There were gas supplies from Egypt, but they ended.

Israeli Minister for Energy Uzi Landau forbid sales of Tamar gas to Gazprom (Russia) and Daewoo (Korea) on March 13.

Gazprom and Daewoo were to receive a third of the gas. The deal is worth $15 billion and was signed for 15 years.
