Russian PM’s spokeswoman marks birthday

Natalya Timakova, press secretary of Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, is marking her birthday today.
Tomakova graduated at the Philosophy Faculty of the MSU. She started work as a correspondent of the Moskovsky Komsomolets paper where she focused on the presidential campaign of Boris Yeltsin in 1996. She worked at Kommersant and Interfax. She became Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin’s press secretary in October 1999 and was deputy director of the Department for Governmental Information.
Timakova joined the presidential administration in 2000. She was deputy press secretary of the president in 2002 and became head of the Russian Presidential Office for Press Service and Information.
Timakova was the press secretary of Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev on May 13, 2008, - May 21, 2012, and then became deputy head of the governmental office.
