US-Russian relations worse than ever - Secretary Kerry

Relations between Russia and the United States are as bad as possible, but it's in both countries' best interests to restore mutual partnership, US Secretary of State John Kerry believes.

"Can one say that our relations are as bad as possible? I guess so, with all these fights over the Magnitsky case and foreign adoption," the US State Secretary said at a meeting of the foreign policy committee of the House of Representatives.

The official also said that the United States hopes that the situation will change for the better.
