Tajikistan and Afghanistan signed an agreement, according to which Afghanistan will receive 1 billion KW/h this year, exceeding the electricity volumes provided in 2012 twice.
Power will be transported via the Sangtuda-puli Khumri line (220KW) at a fee of 3.64 centers per KW.
About 700 million KW/h were sold by Tajikistan in 2012, over 90% of which were sold to Afghanistan.
