Lufthansa cancels 2,000 flights

Lufthansa staff is on strike, resulting in flights cancelled all over the world.

A preliminary strike was made on Friday by Ver.di staff. The employees demand tha wage of 33,000 euro to be increased by 5.2%. The strike will start in Frankfurt am Main, Hamburg, Munich, Stuttgart, Dusseldorf and Berlin.

Ver.di held such strike at 5.00 am – 12.00 pm a month ago, resulting in 700 flights cancelled.
