Defense Ministry helicopter makes forced landing in Elbrus

An Mi-8 helicopter of the Russian Defense Ministry made a forced landing near Elbrus in Kabardino-Balkaria, RIA Novosti reports, citing the official spokesman of the Russian air forces, Lieutenant-Colonel Vladimir Drik.

He said that the helicopter had been training in the area. A search and rescue group was sent to the scene.
