Participants at Caucasian youth forum wait for Alexander Khloponin

Report from the First Caucasian Forum of Russian Youth
All the participants at the first Caucasian youth forum are already gathered and the opening ceremonies have ended.
Delegates of the forum are staying at a small hotel near the peaks of Mussa-Achitara, Elbrus, Dombay-Yelgen and Amanauz. The hotel is hosting 200 participants and organizers of the forum.
The day starts with a 40-minute physical drill, a square breakfast and hard work on the goals of the forum. Altogether, the forum consists of 7 international teams with several initiative sub-groups as part of them. Each team and sub-group is studying, developing and proposing solutions to many problems of the North Caucasus and Russia as a whole. Students, experts and analysts from commercial organizations will be making their own programs for marriage and family issues, interethnic relations, the place and role of Russia in modern world, the role of the Caucasus in Russia, problems of economic development of the region and coping with local conflicts and preventing them.

Representatives of the main Russian higher education centers came to help in the forum, such as the leading experts, politologists, sportsmen Shevchenko, Korotkov, Jabrailov, Yemelyanenko, Oleynikov, Abdulatipov, Zhidkikh, Tarakanov and others.


At the end of the week the participants will present their prepared projects, the best of which will be observed by the authorities of the North Caucasus Federal District. The main arbitrator is the Russia's authorized presidential envoy to the North Caucasus Federal District, Alexander Khloponin.
