Flood damages territories of Azerbaijan’s Absheron Peninsula and Sabunchi District

Heavy rain has resulted in floods on the Absheron Peninsula and the Sabunchi District of Baku.

50 houses were submerged by the flood, forcing evacuation of 70 people.

The heaviest rain happened in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula in the past two days. 30mm of rain were registered in Sumgayit, 26mm in Baku, 23mm in Mashtagi, 16mm in Pitallakhi and Chilov.
