Azerbaijan focuses on steal-smelting

Azerbaijani Minister for Industry and Energy Natig Aliyev said on Thursday that steal-smelting will become the new industrial course of the country.

He noted that Azerbaijan had enough raw materials and experience to boost the industry.

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev ordered formation of the Azerbaijani Steal-Manufacturing Complex on April 23, 2013. The organization designs, builds and manages steal-smelting facilities in Ganja and the Dashkesan District.

The president merged the Dashkesan Filizsaflashdyrma mining facility with the new organization.
