Iran agrees to continue talks with Ashton

Iran has confirmed its intention to continue negotiations with the six international mediators. "We are waiting for Lady Ashton to call Supreme National Security Council Secretor Saeed Jalili, " the deputy of Jalili said, Reuters reports citing the statement of the representative of Iran.

At the last talks in Kazakhstan, Catherine Ashton headed the group of international diplomats. A meeting of senior members of the six international mediators (Russia, USA, China, France, Britain and Germany) and Tehran over Iran's nuclear program was held in Kazakhstan from April 4-6. The next round of negotiations is scheduled to take place in Vienna on May 15.
