Turkey becomes SCO dialogue partner

Turkey has become a dialogue partner of the SCO, according to a memorandum signed by Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu and SCO Secretary General Dmitry Mezentsev in Alma Ata today, RIA Novosti reports.

Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, China, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan are members of the SCO, an organization founded in 2001. Afghanistan, India, Iran, Mongolia and Pakistan are the observers of the organization. Turkey, Belarus and Sri Lanka are its dialogue partners.
