Russian police to work on its image

Russian police will be reformed in all directions,  Minister of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation Vladimir Kolokoltchev says in an interview on the channel "Russia 1". First of all, it will be focused on changing the image of officers. Vladimir Kolokoltchev reports about the details of the special operation to capture Pomazun in Belgorod.  The Minister says that local residents actively helped the police.
On April 22, at Narodny Boulevard in Belgorod, Pomazun opened fire at people in a store and then at passers-by outside. He killed six people. After shooting, he escaped in a car. He was detained at night on April 23. He was noticed when he attempted to go out of the cordoned zone. He intended to leave the zone in a freight car. When detained, Pomazun attacked policemen, seriously wounding one of them with a knife.
