Russian air companies make no flights over Syria

Transaero, Aeroflot and S7 said that they were not making any flights over Syria, PRIME reports.

UTair said that it had made no flights over the country since late March 2013.

The Russian Federal Air Transport Agency recommended Russian companies to stop passenger flights over Syria on Monday.

A Nord Wind jet with 159 passengers on board suffered a missile attack over Syria on its way from Sharm el Sheikh to Kazan. The jet landed successfully and did not report about the attack to the Kazan flight control service.
