Turkmenistan calls for TAPI construction to be speeded up

Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov stresses the need to speed up the construction of the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India (TAPI) transnational gas pipeline, Trend cites Turkmen television as saying today.

The issue was discussed at a government meeting, the news agency informs.

"Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov stressed the need to intensify work on the TAPI project," Trend cites the official statement as saying.
