WWII abandoned graves found in North Ossetia

North Ossetian Interior Minister Artur Akhmetkhanov organized beautification of graves of soldiers of the Great Patriotic War. The police and volunteers found about a hundred abandoned graves.

A collective grave of NKVD cadets killed in 1942 was found on Vladikavkaz outskirts. The grave will be restored and names of people buried there identified.

Restoration of graves will be concluded on June 22, 2013.
