Kadyrov sees no ethnic aspect to ‘Don’ camp conflict

Afight that occurred in the health camp ‘Don’ in Russia's Krasnodar Territory between Chechens and locals was not of an ethnic nature, Chechen President Ramzan Kadyrov said, RIA Novosti reports.


Russia's child ombudsman Pavel Astakhov has not ruled out an ethnic to the conflict, which left 9 people injured.


Kadyrov said the the incident was a mass beating of children. He said that they have established a commission which includes representatives of the Ministry of Labor, Ministry of Education, Interior Ministry and other structures to investigate the issue.


The Chechen leader said that they have good ties with the Krasnodar Territory and the incident will not affect them. They will do all they can to strengthen brotherly ties. He said that the authorities of the republic are constantly working with Chechen communities that live in various regions of the country. Kadyrov said that the work will be enhanced to make Chechen communities respect the traditions of the people they live alongside.
