SOCAR will continue oil transit via Baku-Novorossiysk pipeline if necessary

According to him, according to the current contract, the parties should notify each other six months prior to any changes.
The head of SOCAR also said that deliveries will take place in accordance with the existing agreement by the end of this year. The parties will hold a series of meetings in order to negotiate commercial terms of the transit of Azerbaijani oil via the Baku-Novorossiysk pipeline.
In particular, Abdullayev said that the sides would focus on the issues of an oil quality bank in the port of Novorossiysk and the possibility of oil deliveries to other countries via the pipeline.
SOCAR will continue its deliveries if it is necessary. "If it is not useful, the deliveries will be halted," Abdullayev is quoted as saying by Trend.
