Surkov to leave all government posts

Natalia Timakova, the spokeswoman for Dmitry Medvedev, said that retired Vladislav Surkov will leave those positions in the offices of the premier and the President that he occupied as a deputy prime minister and head of the government administration.

"With regard to the allocation of the responsibilities of Surkov, it will affect the position: the appointment of a new head of the government administration, which will take some of the functions; and different personal decisions on whether he will remain in certain committees or not," Timakova is quoted by Interfax.
