Six-year-old child drowns because of traffic accident in Karachay-Cherkessia

A six-year-old child was killed as a result of the fall of the car off a cliff into the Great Laba river in Karachay-Cherkessia. A spokesman for the republic announced that his body was found by local residents, RIA News reported.The driver of a VAZ-2121 lost control of the car and ran off a cliff between the villages of Phiya and Psemen. "According to some reports, a family of four were in the car. The parents and a three-year-old child did not receive significant injuries and refused hospitalization. A six-year-old boy's body has been found along the river by local residents," the source said.Five employees of the Karachay-Cherkessia search and rescue team of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations were involved in the search.
