One of the institutions of the North Caucasus region - North Caucasus Development Corporation Vnesheconombank Group (NCDC) – launches pan-Caucasian tourist information portal "PoSetiKavkaz.rf" (ПоСетиКавказ.рф).

As the Information Project Director of the Foundation of Social Projects of the NCDC, Sergei Kovtunov, told VK, "all the attractions of the region will be presented there. We decided to start with Ingushetia. We came to the republic to find out what attractions of the youngest subject of the Russian Federation should be presented in the first place. The portal will provide the opportunity to immediately book a ticket, book a hotel, buy a tour. Brands of the North Caucasus will be presented by media people - politicians, show business stars. During the year, we plan to debug everything and to launch the portal. We want to strengthen the overall impression of the region. So far it is ambiguous, so we will try to improve it."

Recently, Sergey Kovtunov met with the head of Ingushetia, Yunus-Bek Yevkurov, and the chairman of the Tourism Committee of Ingushetia, Batyr Malsagov, and visited the Dzheyrakh district, where he took pictures of attractions accompanied by members of the republic's tourist agencies, who presented Ingush culture, history, legends and tales to their guests.

Among other projects made by NCDC there is the ethnic music festival "Russian World" as part of «WOMAD Russia», which is expected to be held in Kislovodsk in early September. «WOMAD Russia» (World of music, arts and dance) has been held in different countries for 30 years. During this time it has turned from a local event, organized by leader of the rock group Genesis, Peter Gabriel, into a global event. At the festival people will become familiar with the culture of the North Caucasus and taste national dishes.

Another project, "North Caucasus Mountain Club", provides for the opening of a high-mountain hotel for about 48 people. The first hotel on Mount Elbrus at 4,000 m will be opened in early summer. It is also expected that a hotel on Mount Stolovaya in Ingushetia will be built.

"In addition, the North Caucasus Mountain Club is now developing a project called the "Alanian Path". The peoples of the region are directly related to the Alans, and we will work in this direction in all the republics. The project aims to develop local small and medium-sized enterprises,” Sergey Kovtunov said.
