Georgia marks Independence Day

Independence Day is being marked in Georgia today. It is 95 years since the 1st Georgian Republic declared independence from Russia. Festivities are going to be held in 26 cities of the country.

The main events are going to take place on Roses Square and Freedom Square in Tbilisi.

A military exhibition is going be held on Shota Rustaveli Street.
