Rising gas prices may force 58% of population to emigrate from Armenia

58% of people questioned in Armenia by Tert.am on May 18-25 said they would leave the country if the gas prices rise by an intolerable level.

315 people were questioned. 200 would leave the country, 56 (16.4%) would reduce gas consumption, 41 (12%) would use alternate fuel, 45 (13.2% would start protests.
