Kazakhstan opens Naval Academy

The Kazakh-British Technical University in Alma-Ata has opened the Naval Academy to boost naval shipments in the oil field, Trend reports.

Shipping in the Caspian Sea grow every year. The country needs skilled sailors to fulfill the demand for freighting. The Rotterdam Maritime University won the tended to form the academy.

Dutch Ambassador to Kazakhstan Peter van Leeuwen said that specialists from the Netherlands will train Kazakh specialists in English. After four years of studies, they will get bachelor degrees.
