Skinhead girl is sentenced to five years in prison for attack on natives of Dagestan
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaDaria Botvinskaya, who was involved in an attack on two natives of Dagestan motivated by ethnic hatred, was sentenced today by the Moscow City Court to 5 years of imprisonment in a penal colony. However, the court suspended the execution of the sentence until her newborn child is 14 years old.
According to the investigators, in June 2007, Botvinskaya, at the time a minor, and six of her accomplices committed violent crimes based on ethnic hatred. They attacked, beat up and stabbed two natives of Dagestan in a train travelling between the stations of "Mark" and "Lianozovo".
"One of the attackers suffered six stab wounds, and due to extensive blood loss he died on the spot. His companion in misfortune, who fell to the ground and tried to protect himself, received at least 28 stab wounds, but survived thanks to timely medical care," ITAR-TASS quotes the indictment.
The accomplices of Botvinskaya have been sentenced by the Moscow City Court to various terms of imprisonment.
