Harsher punishments for extremism approved in Russia

The bill of the Russian Justice Ministry to neutralization of destructive activities of religious organizations has been approved by the governmental commission for legislature today.

The document extends detention terms for promotion of extremism, hatred and discrimination at meetings and in mass media.

The bill will be discussed at a governmental session.
